Sailors make the best out of riding the big swells at sea by sticking together in more ways than one. The captain of the U.S.S. 69 understands that the morale of his men is vital to survival, so he bends the rules quite a bit to help his crew make it through the night. The captain is proud of his men for applying all they have learned in naval training to help them weather the storm. To reward them, he offers them an additional day of shore leave, but by the time the lusty ship reaches port, his shipmates cannot wait to hit the high seas once again.
